Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology or Clinical Kinesiology in 77095 finds a muscle or muscles that are unbalanced or weaker than they should be and then attempts to determine why that muscle is not functioning properly. The causes of the weakness are numerous but can include, spinal nerve irritation, muscle work to the muscle in question, reflex and/or acupuncture points, and nutritional imbalances or deficiencies.

While it is important to realign the spine and joints when necessary, at The Health Center we also address what muscles should be holding joints or vertebra in place. Otherwise, the subluxations or joints misalignments just keep reoccurring over and over again. I have seen this with many patients over the years who have tried different therapies including chiropractic adjustments, whom had relief with their treatments but it would never last until we addressed the muscle weakness or imbalances that where occurring. With this technique we have helped many people suffering with numerous areas including knee, elbow, ankle, wrist, shoulder, hip, low back and neck problems.
